Project Overview

In July 2025, WiredUp Ltd, leading electrical contractors in Lancashire, were commissioned to deliver a complete commercial electrical installation for The Park 2.0, a brand-new functional fitness gym.

With just two weeks to turn an empty shell into a fully operational fitness facility, we focused on precise planning, expert execution, and quality workmanship to deliver a result that exceeded expectations.

Our Approach

The unit started as a bare industrial space, requiring a full electrical infrastructure from the ground up. We began by installing a robust Uni-strut containment system with hangers, acting as brackets for both the cable trays and the halo LED lighting that would surround the gym’s entire perimeter.

This stage required careful coordination and precision to ensure the containment served multiple purposes while keeping the design clean and visually appealing.

Project Overview

WiredUp Ltd carried out a comprehensive electrical installation, which included:

  • Halo LED perimeter lighting – creating an immersive gym atmosphere
  • Socket circuits for gym equipment and general power supply
  • Emergency lighting for safety and compliance
  • Full fire alarm system installation and testing
  • Integrated speaker system throughout the facility
  • Motorised key switch for the roller shutter door
  • Changing room installations – power, lighting, and ventilation
  • Infrastructure planning for a future office space

All work was installed and tested to WiredUp Ltd’s professional standards, ensuring reliability, safety,
and long-term performance
